Mind-bending musical travelogue and encyclopaedic aesthetic compendium,
STAIRS TO THE MIDNIGHT CITY is a large scale musical production encompassing
the spectrum of contemporary music practice.
VOLUME ONE of a projected five volume series is nearing completion -
and will be released in gradual stages online and on CD and DVD throughout 2010.
Further Volumes from the entire cycle will be released in the future.
Online stockists of Vol.1 will include iTunes, Bandcamp, and others.
Individual CDs from Vol.1 and a special CD+DVD audio boxed set will be available from mid-year onwards
from selected international retailers. Release schedules and project updates will be made available soon.
Individual tracks can be purchased and downloaded right now from the Digitalstore at this site,
and from the STTMC project site, in three high-quality formats - MP4, CD-quality WAV,
and pristine 24-bit DVD-audio quality WAV.

'Stairs to the Midnight City' is a large-scale musical cycle
and evolving online audio-visual structure, scheduled for completion in early 2010.
Spanning several acts, the project utilises live & improvised structures,
electro-acoustic and studio-based compositions, and a chaotic plethora of contemporary forms,
styles and techniques.
New material is being added to the site as the project grows and evolves.
Music is currently available to preview and purchase from the site in high quality WAV and MP4 audio.
A special DVD of Stairs to the Midnight City, including live performances and specially commissioned visual,
filmic and transmedia materials, will be prepared at the work's completion.
